Editorial Policy

Kiwi Latte exists to help New Zealanders buy the right coffee gear. These are the standards every article follows.

Accuracy

• Prices are in NZ$, from named NZ shops or brand NZ stores, with the date we checked them.
• Specs come from the brand’s New Zealand website wherever possible.
• We link to our sources, such as Consumer NZ or a brand page, when we quote a fact or figure.
• If we cannot confirm something, we leave it out.

Independence

• We choose products on merit: what suits Kiwi buyers, quality, value and NZ availability.
• Brands and shops cannot pay for a review, a pick or a ranking.
• Any future affiliate links will be clearly marked, and will never decide what we recommend.

How articles are written

AB writes and checks every article. We use AI tools to help with research and drafting. All testing notes, opinions and final edits are AB’s own.

Keeping content fresh

• Each guide shows its last updated date.
• We aim to recheck prices on our main buying guides every month.
• We update picks when a machine is discontinued or a better option arrives in NZ shops.
